Stocks
The Stocks Property is made available when the ST-Sim Stocks and Flows Add-On is enabled within the Library Properties. A Stock in ST-Sim represents a continuous quantity within a system measured at one point in time, which is subject to increase of decrease across time as a result of Flow inputs and outputs.
Stock Type
All possible Stock Types within a system can be defined in the Stock Type sub-node. An example of Stock Types applied to ecosystem carbon would be Atmosphere, Biomass, Soil, and Wood Products, with units measured as tons of carbon. The fields for Stock Type are Name and Description (optional). Add optional fields to the table by selecting them from the right-click Context Menu.
Stock Group
Stock Groups are used for aggregated reporting of Stock Types, and are defined in the Stock Group sub-node. An example of a Stock Group within an ecological system would be Total Ecosystem Carbon. The fields for Stock Group are Name, Description (optional) and Units (optional). Add optional fields to the table by selecting them from the right-click Context Menu.
