Installing ST-Sim
ST-Sim can be used on both Windows, Linux, and Apple OS/X. However, the graphical Forms interface for ST-Sim is very important and so this article describes how to install ST-Sim for use on Windows.
SyncroSim
To use ST-Sim you must first install SyncroSim. If you have not already done so, go to the Download page for SyncroSim and complete the instructions.
The ST-Sim Package
After you've installed SyncroSim, you can install the ST-Sim Package in one of two ways:
1. Using the Package Explorer
- Open the File menu and click Packages...
- Click the Install... button.
- Choose "ST-Sim state-and-transition simulation model" and click OK.
You should now see the "stsim" Package in the Package Explorer.
2. Using the New Library Dialog
If it is your first time using SyncroSim and you have no Packages installed, the New Library dialog will prompt you to install it as a Suggested Package.
And if you have already installed another Package you can still use the New Library dialog to install ST-Sim by clicking the Suggested button in the upper right.
