Transition Spatial Initiation Multipliers
The Transition Spatial Initiation Multipliers raster is like the Transition Spatial Multipliers, except that it is used only to adjust the probability of a specific simulation cell being used as the initiation location for a transition event. For example, this feature could be used to increase the probability of fire events being initiated closer to roads.
The fields for this property are:
Iteration (optional)
This value represents the Iteration for which the the spatial initiation multiplier raster is specified. The spatial initiation multiplier raster continues through subsequent iterations until another Iteration value is encountered by the model for the same transition group, at which point the new spatial initiation multiplier raster will be applied. If no Iteration is specified, the spatial initiation multiplier raster will be applied across all iterations.
Timestep (optional)
This value represents the Timestep for which the spatial initiation multiplier raster is specified. The spatial initiation multiplier raster continues through time until another Timestep value is encountered by the model for the same transition group, at which point the new values for the spatial initiation multiplier raster will be applied. If no Timestep is specified, the spatial initiation multiplier raster will be applied across all timesteps.
Transition Group
Represents the Transition Group for which the spatial initiation multiplier raster is specified.
Multiplier Type (optional)
This is an optional field specifying the Multiplier Type associated with the multiplier.
Multiplier File Name
This field allows you to select a GeoTIFF raster file which will be loaded into the model database. This raster should overlay exactly with the initial conditions raster files and provides a floating point value of a multiplier for each simulation cell.
